Happy Purrthday!

Frantic Stamper is our fantastic sponsor for October and the winner will receive a fantastic die.  Here it is!
Priced at $25.99 - Prize for October

The challenge for October is Fall or Fall Colors.  You can work with the wonderful Fall colors or any holidays in October - for Americans, it's Halloween, so work your FALL MAGIC for us.

Frantic Stamper has so much to offer, stencils, stamps and dies.  We want to showcase some of the products along our month-long journey through October.  Frantic Stamper carries their own brand as well as many other well known brands, such as Altenew and Elizabeth Craft Designs.

I have fallen in love with this Magic Picture Changer die! It's really fun to play with when you're done. But... watch the video Lawn Fawn has for how to put it together! It's super easy when you follow along with the instructions.

This is going to be my brothers birthday card. Lucky for me, my siblings don't pay attention to my blog! I felt this fit the theme because of the colors I chose-brown, tan, orange, and sky blue. Seems like fall to me-and my brothers birthday is in early November, so it suits.

Here are the materials I used for this card-

1. Stamps: cat, smile sentiment ( If Cats could Talk - Taylored Expressions), sentiment (Smitten Kitten-My Favorite Things).
2. Dies: Magic Picture Changer (Lawn Fawn), Magic Picture Changer Add-On (Lawn Fawn).
3. Paper: paw print (Bo Bunny-Happy Tails collection), plaid (unknown), kraft cardstock, dark brown cardstock.
4. Copic Markers.

Thanks for visiting!

This months sponsor at Die Cut Diva's is-

ElizabethCraftDesigns.com

And the prize is a gift code!

The theme this month is "HOT", and a desert is really hot! Here is my project-

To me, nothing is hotter than the desert, and the dog days of summer feel like you're in the desert! The cute scene is from Cricut Design Space. I made a white dog, and inked the edges with Distress Oxide Weathered Wood and used a Copic multi-liner to draw the toenails and mouth. All the paper was out of my stash bins. The sentiment was computer generated and cut out with a Lawn Fawn Speech Bubble. The inside sentiment says "Yay."

Cherry Blossoms

Cheapo Dies

Cheapo Dies offers a $15 gift certificate as the prize for our winner of the June challenge at Die Cut Divas, so help us celebrate all the Birthdays!

Here is my project-

Even though this is a simple card, it isn't easy choosing paper and embellishments! I thought that the cherry blossom die (mine is Darice, but Cheapo Dies has this one here) by itself was a lovely focal point. The sentiment is by Spellbinders (Sentiments One). The brown and pink cardstock contrasted well with the patterned paper (unknown) and Cinnamon Stickles added much needed sparkle.

Die Cut Diva Spotlight with Altenew stamps

Established in April 2014, Altenew has quickly become a leader in the inspiration industry, and continues to innovate and influence the world of paper crafts. Altenew strives to encourage crafters to express their own unique creativity through the art of paper crafting.

“Alt” translates into “old” in German, and thus “Alt-e-new” represents the juxtaposition of classical and contemporary designs. Our high-quality clear photopolymer stamps, stencils, and inks are manufactured in the United States and we are humbled to be serving customers in over 70 countries.

Our challenge here at Die Cut Divas is all about WATER (rain, lakes, ocean, streams, rivers, dark clouds full of water, glass of water, tears), just have some sort of water on the card.

The prize for this challenge is a $20 gift certificate from Altenew.

Here is my Project-

I wanted to have some cards on hand that could be used for a sympathy card, or supporting a friend going through a rough time. This turned out better than I could have hoped, as stamping on vellum can be tricky. But this vellum didn't bleed the ink like others I've tried! Here is my material list-
  1. Die Cuts: clouds (Impression Obsession).
  2. Paper: white cardstock (Georgia Pacific), vellum (Coordinations-Joanns).
  3. Stamp: In My Thoughts (Altenew).
  4. Inks: background (Lucky Clover DO, Salty Ocean DO, Tumbled Glass DO), front (Gathered Twig DO, Spun Sugar DO, Memento black ink).

Here is my project-

I wanted a masculine card that could by used for a variety of occasions, which isn't easy to do. So this would work as a Father's Day card, birthday, wedding, or congratulations. The only thing I would do different is a lighter, grayer teal for the bear's aura, but hey, it works.

Here are the materials I used to make this card:
  1. Image: Teddy Characters #2 (Morgan's Art World Digital Shop), colored with Copics.
  2. Die: Spellbinders Labels Nine.
  3. Paper: patterned paper (Theresa Collins Memorabilia 6x6 pad), white cardstock.
  4. Stamp: sentiment on tag (Happy Days by Cardz TV).
Make sure to enter our challenge for a chance to win some gorgeous images!
