The overlay was made with the Artbooking cartridge for Cricut. The panel underneath was embossed with a light coat of Sea Lavender Ink by Martha Stewart (which is the shadow ink shade for the sentiment, Ocean is the overlying color). Close to my Heart sentiment, American Crafts resin & pearl brads, Zva Creative roses.

Oh my goodness!! This is so beautiful!!! I love the overlay and those fabulous flowers. Love the sentiment, too. Thank you so very much for joining our 'Use an Overlay' challenge at BBTB2!!!! :)
ReplyDeleteStunning, Michelle! I love your use of space and the overlay is just perfect. Was it difficult to use the overlay feature and size it for cards? I have the cartridge and have not had the chance to really play with it. Thank you for sharing!
ReplyDeleteActually, I cut it at the suggested 11", which made it that long and 5" wide (I should mention that this is the narrower version I cut). I just cut it the length I wanted, and had some left over which can make another card or a photo mat.
DeleteOh my this card is simple stunning!! I love that overlay and you have used it on this card so well! Thanks for joining us at BBTB2;-)
ReplyDeleteGorgeous cutwork! Love the underneath part too. Beautiful decorating of the sentiment.
