Here is my project-

 

 Non-traditional Valentines means sometimes you think outside the box and ignore hearts, cupids, and flowers. I chose a peacock! Here are the items I used to make this card-

1. Stamps & Dies: Layering Peacock (Hero Arts, retired).
2. Dies: be mine banner (My Favorite Things, retired), Detailed Bohemian Plate (Simon Says Stamps).
3. Paper: kraft, light blue cardstock. Patterned paper (Creative Memories).

Hero Arts makes so many wonderful stamps and dies-I have so many it makes it hard to chose what to work with! I love these butterflies, but unfortunately the set is retired. There are other sets that would also work.

• Stamps: Hero Arts Layered Butterflies (retired). These (CM 331 & DC182) would work as well.
• Dies: CREAlies On The Move #16 Design O (Pop Up Card).

Here is my project-

 

My niece will receive this card for Valentines day. She absolutely loves Betta fish! This was stamped with Distress Oxides (Uncharted Mariner and Fossilized Amber), and protected with a coat of Distress Glaze. Here are the materials I used to make this card-

1. Stamps: Sentiment, fish (Color Layering Betta Fish, with matching dies by Hero Arts).
2. Die: fishtail banner (My Favorite Things).
3. Embossing Folder: Koi (Cuttlebug).
