"Don't quote me!"

At CardzTV the challenge is to make a card using your favorite quote. Here is my entry:

I used the new Cricut Cartridge "Creative Cards" , and the quote is one of my favorites that I bought a long time ago. True story-the stamp had been lost ever since I bought it, and it wasn't until I moved into the new house that I found it (and a WHOLE LOT MORE!!). I did pop dot the sentiment to get some dimension to the card.

Just A Scrappin Easel Card Challenge

This week at Just A Scrappin' the challenge is to make an easel card using pastel colors on it. Here is my take on the challenge:

This was made with the Cindy Loo Cricut Cartridge, and a Spellbinders label that I chalked pink on the edges. Pop dots under the label, pink pearls on each side of the sentiment with white pearls in the flowers. I don't know if you can read the badge, but there's a pink bird with "Spring Fever" written above it.

FCCB-Use a kite or Balloon

At FCCB, the challenge is to make something with a kite or balloon. Here is my project:

I used two cartridges to make this card-Victorian Romance for the balloon (using pop dots to lift it off the card), and Paper Pups for the clouds. I also used Swiss dots embossing folder to give some texture to the clouds. Paper Smooches sentiment.

This card was chosen as an FCCB top 5! My first one, so I'm pretty excited!
