At FCCB, the challenge is "Paper Roses" and since I need two Mother's Day cards SOON I thought I would get one done using my Cricut. The cartridges I used are Mother's Day (sentiment) and Mother's Day Bouqet (flower). I cut 5 petals of the same image in 5 different sizes, then arranged them on a embossing folder & embossed. Here is my Project:
Supplies Used:
Cricut Cartridges Mother's Day, Mothers Day Bouqet
DCWV Damask Paper-Black Currant Stack
Recollection Pearls-Michaels
Offray Off white ribbon-JoAnns
Black and Red Cardstock-Coordinations
These colors suit my Mom perfectly-she's pretty much black & white, with a dose of femininity with the damask and pearls! The red is a private joke about her temper!
I am also entering this card in the following challenges:
Twisted Tuesday Challenges
My Sheri Crafts Mother's Day Challenge
Cardz TV There's no other Like My Mother Challenge
BBTB2 Mother's Day Challenge
Cut It Up Mother's Day Challenge
AND! I still can't upload pictures from my regular browser, FireFox. I'm having to use Internet Explorer and it's not user friendly for me. If anyone knows of a fix, please please please let me know!

Wedding Card
The cutest young couple I know are getting married in a couple of weeks. Their colors are Red & White, and this is the card I made them-
I used Tie the knot Cricut Cartridge for the Mr & Mrs, Zva Creative Rhinestone Flourishes & Zva Creative Red Roses (which aren't that dark in reality-I couldn't get a realistic picture of them, and I finally gave up.)
I am also entering this card in the following challenges:
Twisted Tuesday Challenges
BBTB2 Wedding Challenge
Creative Card Crew Bling Challenge
Whimsical Designs Bling Challenge
Paper Playtime Emboss Challenge
I'm also entering this at FCCB for the Paper Flowers Challenge. The Zva Creative Red Roses are paper, so I don't know if this will meet the challenge rules or not. If a FCCB member feels it doesn't meet the intent of the challenge I will edit this post to remove myself from their challenge.

Exploring Cricuts Spring Flowers
This card is being entered at Exploring Cricuts Flower Challenge and the Simple Salutations Spring Challenge at MFP.
For this weeks challenge here is my card:
I
decided to kill two birds with one stone, er, card by making this card
for my nieces wedding. It didn't hurt that emerald green and ivory are
her colors!
I used papers from Bazzill and Creative Memories.
The
flower is from the Cricut cartridge "Flower Shoppe" and it is cut at 2
inches. A pearl was added to the center of the flower. The flower parts
were embossed with my Cuttlebug folders.
Green sheer ribbon from Jo-Anns.
The sentiment is from Paper Smooches, stamped in Green Martha Stewart ink.

3-D Challenge
The 3-D Challenge at FCCB got me thinking about my husband's birthday. I've made a card, but now I needed a masculine gift box. So here is my project:
The cartridges I used were Artiste and Handy Man. I cut the box using Artiste at 5 1/2" out of black for the box, and a brushed silver for the cover. I used the Cuttlebug diamond plate embossing folder on the silver, because what man doesn't like diamond plate? I used the drill in Handy Man cut at 2 1/2" and used pop dots to raise it off the cover. My husband LOVES tools, so I used the colors to resemble his Makita drill!
This is going to be reused for Father's Day!
I'm also entering this at the Bitten by the Bug2 Man Up challenge.
EDITED: This is also being added to the Moxie Fab World Gift Container challenge!
Thanks for looking.

Challenge for this week-new baby or new Pet!
JAS Challenge #49 , new baby or new Pet!
I am at the age where NO ONE in my circle of friends will have another baby! But we are all nutty about our pups. I also have a friend who lost her Golden Retriever last year, and is working with a Golden Retriever rescue in her area to adopt. I think she'll like this card!
The background paper is DCWV Pet Stack, Ribbon from Jo-Anns, and the Cartridge is Paper Pups cut at 3 1/2". Pretty simple!
Thanks for looking, and be sure to join the challenge!

JAS Spring Fling!
Anything goes at JAS - make a card, LO, or project
using spring colors of anything that you please-so I wanted to make this:
I used the Walk in My Garden cartridge to make the tulip borders that go all around the bucket. The butterflies and tools are also cut with the same cart. I put the wire on the back of the cuts, and glued oval shaped pieces of paper over it. Wind the wire around a pencil to make the coils. Floral Foam is on the bottom of the bucket to support a plant. I wound the bottom inch of wire around a toothpick to stick into the foam. The seed packets (they are real!) are mounted onto the cardstock which was glued to paint stirring sticks. I also added lavender & purple buttons around the bucket. Tie ribbon around the top of the bucket.
I gotta make one more of these for Mother's Day!
I'm also entering this at Exploring Cricut Spring Challenge & Craftin Desert Diva's Cute as a Button Challenge .

Tutorial Time Challenge
The challenge this week at MFP's Tutorial Time #43 was to use any previous tutorial. Wow, that's a lot of tutorials! I decided to take the Punched H*** challenge and combine it with scrap attack-
Instead of circles I chose stars! Then I didn't find a pink star in my stash, so I used Pink Glitter Zing to recolor a silver star brad. The panels I stamped with a Heidi Grace phrase stamp.

Another Joke Card & Spotlight News
News! I was so honored when Arin at FCCB chose me to be the Spotlight Designer! Wow. I'm always amazed when someone thinks my work is that good. I'm flattered and humbled. So I chose to make another card for the Joke challenge to announce the news, and here is my card-
and the punchline-
I made this using the Happy Hauntings cartridge-I just love Halloween!

"Use 3 Decorative Papers & Your Favorite Embellishment"...
"Use 3 Decorative Papers & Your Favorite Embellishment" is the challenge at TPE and at Cardz Tv so I took one of my favorite DCWV Paper Stacks (Black Currant), added pearls (I adore pearls) and made this card-
This IS patterned paper-the yellow and light black are lightly crosshatched for a linen effect and I had to show the back of the card-isn't this cardstock gorgeous! I used the new Cricut Creative Cards Cartridge.

Cricut Joke Card
On April 1st, Fantabulous Cricut Challenge Blog (FCCB) had a blog crawl that showcased the theme of the week-make a card with a joke on it. So I went on the internet looking for animal jokes because I had a cartridge I really wanted to use, and this is what I made:
The cartridges I used were Four Legged Friends for the horse, and Paper Pups for the clouds.
How do you like the joke? *UPDATE* FCCB top 5!
