Be Merry

Are We All FRANTIC STAMPERs This Month?

The Challenge is "Fancy/Uneven Edge on at least one of the Outside Edges of a Card"

Frantic Stamper has provided two wonderful dies as the prize-

 Here is my project-

I absolutely love this edger die from Frantic Stamper. It looks very soft and delicate, but it is quite strong! I've never had any of the design fail on cardstock (I do use Neenah Solar White for the card base). Here is a materials list for this card-
  1. Dies: scalloped vine edger (Frantic Stamper), poinsettia (Spellbinders-but here is pages and pages of Poinsettias), be merry sentiment (Classic Holiday Words-Pink Fresh Studios)
  2. Cardstock: base (Neenah Solar White), teal shimmer, white, teal (scrap stash).
  3. Embellishment: teal pearl.

Make sure to enter for a chance at those prize dies!

Frantic Stamper Loopy Edger

Are We All FRANTIC STAMPERs This Month?

Prize: Frantic Stamper has provided two wonderful dies!

Here is my project-

 And a bonus card-

These cards were quick and easy to make up, and I gave them out on Thanksgiving this year. I used a regular A2 card base, and cut one edge using the Lovely Loop Edger by Frantic Stamper. I used it again on my printed cardstock and glued it to the front, then trimmed. Easy Peasy! I stamped the sentiment using Autumn by Hero Arts, and the turkey was an Impression Obsession die.

Introducing Birch Press, our fantastic sponsor for the month of November!

The challenge theme is: Any Holiday in the Year.  Winner's prize is $20 gift card to the store.

Here is my project-

Usually, I tend to use the Kessa Arch set (Birch Press-retired) in a monochromatic card. This time I tried a pattern paper on the top layer (magazine freebie-old), with lilac and dark teal green cardstock layers. The banner is from My Favorite Things, and sentiment is from an old Fiskars stamp set.

You

Our Sponsor for August is SheepSki Designs

The winner will be able to choose three images of  their choice.

The Challenge is to Wet or Dry Emboss something on your card.  If we can't easily tell what you did, please let us know in your post.

Here is my project-

This sweet image by SheepSki Designs was colored with Copics, and then embossed with the Cuttlebug You folder. I didn't feel the need for anything else, as this card was one of a dozen I made for my sister to give to hospice workers and friends who made her daughters funeral a true tribute to a wonderful and bright young woman.

Rest in peace Amanda.

The winner will be able to choose three images of  their choice.

The Challenge is to Wet or Dry Emboss something on your card.  If we can't easily tell what you did, please let us know in your post.

Here is my project-

My sister lost her daughter to cancer. So I made Thank You cards for her to send to all the people who helped with hospice and the funeral. The butterfly image is used separately from the heart wreath by Sheepski. The sentiment is from Technique Tuesday (Ali Edwards), cut out with an MFT oval die. The embossing folder is an older Cuttlebug/Anna Griffith one called Rosa.

 Rest in Peace, Amanda.

Flower Shop

Our sponsor this month is Scrappy Tails!
The Prize is an electronic gift card for $25 to the lucky winner.

The challenge this month is to
Add Some Glitter.

We know glitter is hard to photograph, so if we can't see it, please let us know what you glittered and/or what you used.

Here is my project-

I chose these images from Flower Shop Stamps & Dies, by Scrappy Tails for my card. I used Copics to color the image, and the matching dies to cut them out. The background is made by blending Tea Dye & Vintage Photo Distress Oxides. The Wood Floor die by Penny Black makes a great floor, and the sentiment is from Little B's Handwritten collection. I had some brown glitter paper in my scraps, and it worked perfectly! There is also some Stickles on some of the plants, which I couldn't get to show up in the picture!

I chose this image from Coffee Shop, by Scrappy Tails for my card. I used Copics to color the image, and the image was cut using the coordinating dies. The papers are from the Avery Elle Sorbet Collection, and the seam is hidden by the white Glitter on a Roll by Recollections. That white glitter strip sure took on the pink of the background paper!
