Here is my project-

We have a friend that I give Christmas cards to that just loves when she can use the ornaments I decorate her card with. Since our challenge is "white on white, with a splash of color", I chose green for my accent. I also wanted enough clear gems to reflect the Christmas lights on the tree. Here is a list of materials I used on this card-
Remember-use all white with a splash of color with those dies or embossing folder! Enter for a chance at a great prize!

Sparkly Thanks

You're Going To Love This Challenge!

Yes!  Anything Goes.

If you've never visited Birch Press Design, you should. I have found some unique designs that you won't find elsewhere.

Our sponsor will be giving away a $20 gift card to the winner of our challenge.  *Note: Challenge winner must have US address.

 Here is my card-

I used three Birch Press items to make this card! The background is the Pinpoint Radial Plate (retired), the Dazzler Layer set (retired), and the Thanks Sugar Script die. I went looking on the internet for the retired dies, and they can be found.

I was messing around with the layers of the Dazzler die, and liked this configuration. I also remembered why I don't like glitter cardstock (it sheds, and it's hard to glue anything to it!). The papers are from my stash, but the black glossy cardstock is from Tonic Studios.

Really, a pretty simple card. I used Birch Press Herbarium (retired, but available at a multitude of stores) to cut the top three layers (Light green, gold, med.green card stock), and added a rusty red underneath. I used the same rusty red as the shadow for the gold mirror card stock sentiment, Birch Press Merry Christmas Sugar Script (But these would work as well!). Trying to photograph this card was difficult due to the different golds, darn it. But, I think it turned out really well.

Birch Press Kessa

Introducing Birch Press, our fantastic sponsor for the month of November!

The challenge theme is: Any Holiday in the Year.  Winner's prize is $20 gift card to the store.

Here is my project-

Usually, I tend to use the Kessa Arch set (Birch Press-retired) in a monochromatic card. This time I tried a pattern paper on the top layer (magazine freebie-old), with lilac and dark teal green cardstock layers. The banner is from My Favorite Things, and sentiment is from an old Fiskars stamp set.

Halloween!

Introducing Birch Press, our fantastic sponsor for the month of November!

The challenge theme is: Any Holiday in the Year.  Winner's prize is $20 gift card to the store.

Here is my project-

I like making Halloween cards. They're fun, silly, and just another way to touch base with friends and family. The background dies are by Birch Press (Grace), which are discontinued but available here. The little critter is a Grumpling in Costume character (discontinued-Taylored Expressions), colored with Copics. The paper is all from my stash.

Teal Christmas

Welcome to a month of Birch Press inspiration and fun.

The Theme for October is Use A Layer Die Set or be sure to Layer a die cut on another die cut.

The prize is a fantastic $20 gift card to our random winner.

Here is my project-

I just love Birch Press Layering Dies. They cut exceptionally well, but a little dusting of powder really help the thinner die cuts pop out of the die. I love teal for Christmas! Here are the materials I used for this card-

Dies: Grandiose, Mini Grandiose layered dies, Handwritten Merry Christmas.
Paper: light, medium, dark medium, dark teal cardstock. White shimmer cardstock.
Embellishment: Something New pearls (Trinity Stamps).

Make sure to use layers and at least one die cut for a chance at that prize!

Halloween Mandala

Welcome to a month of Birch Press inspiration and fun.

The Theme for October is Use A Layer Die Set or be sure to Layer a die cut on another die cut.

The prize is a fantastic $20 gift card to our random winner.

Here is my project-

I want to thank my team mate Arlene for sending me the Birch Press Bali Stencil (it's discontinued, but I found it here). I figured it would fit the layered part of the challenge. I used Distressed Oxide inks (Twisted Citron, Spiced Marmalade, Villainous Potion) to make the layered mandala. The sentiment die (from Hero Arts MMH Sept 2020)is also 3 layers for more dimension. I also used Lawn Fawn Happy Howl-o-ween stamp and die set for the cute dog in the pumpkin.

Make sure to use layers and at least one die cut for a chance at that prize!

Birch Press Design has brightened the Die Cut Divas' with their sponsorship of our challenge blog.

The Theme: Anything Goes Challenge Prize: winner gets $20 gift card to the store.

I know everyone will want to go shopping at Birch Press Design.

Here is my project-

This card is made of up items that a friend and team mate sent me-thanks Cindy Chiu! I hate to admit this, but she sent them over a year ago and I just now found them (my craft room is known as the Bermuda Triangle). So I made this card and I'm thrilled with the result. The birthday die cuts are from Birch Press Designs called Big Birthday Sugar Script. I don't know the printed and striped paper manufacturers. The stamps were from Hero Arts, Lawn Fawn and Paper Issues.

I love teal, and I used some of my hoarded favorite color for this card. This die set makes it so easy to have a stunning card in no time at all. This is going to a male cancer patient, so I didn't add bling to it-but wouldn't some gems be great on this card?

Here is a materials list for this card-
  1. Dies: Grace Layered die set (Birch Press).
  2. Sentiment: Easy Expressions stamp, die (The Ton).
  3. Papers: light, medium, dark teal cardstock. Neenah Solar white card base.

  1. Dies: Kessa Arches (Birch Press Designs-retired) (I did a search on the internet and found several places that had this in stock).
  2. Sentiment: Milkshake font (Cricut) but this one by Birch Press (Thanks) would work as well.
