Here is my card-
I used three Birch Press items to make this card! The background is the Pinpoint Radial Plate (retired), the Dazzler Layer set (retired), and the Thanks Sugar Script die. I went looking on the internet for the retired dies, and they can be found.
I was messing around with the layers of the Dazzler die, and liked this configuration. I also remembered why I don't like glitter cardstock (it sheds, and it's hard to glue anything to it!). The papers are from my stash, but the black glossy cardstock is from Tonic Studios.
Make sure you enter for a chance to win that great prize!

Really, a pretty simple card. I used Birch Press Herbarium (retired, but available at a multitude of stores) to cut the top three layers (Light green, gold, med.green card stock), and added a rusty red underneath. I used the same rusty red as the shadow for the gold mirror card stock sentiment, Birch Press Merry Christmas Sugar Script (But these would work as well!). Trying to photograph this card was difficult due to the different golds, darn it. But, I think it turned out really well.

I have wanted to play with my interference inks by Lisa Horton to make a galaxy background for a long time. When I found the Altenew Mini Moon (and this one would work even better!) in my stash, it all came together in my head! After I made the card, I found a poem on the internet, printed it, and added it to the two empty sections. I love those inks!

I don't know why, but on a color challenge I HAVE to use all the colors. OCD ?? Probably. I find that a color challenge really puts my creativity to the test! This is really a card made from a bunch of scraps, plus flowers I have had forever. So happy to use them! Here is a list of materials-

can use water colors, distress and distress oxides or whatever you want
to get the water color look we want to see.
Here is my project-
I really struggle with water coloring images-I don't like it, I don't enjoy it. Now backgrounds I can do! So I water colored this paper with Altenew 24 pan colors, and then embossed it with an older embossing folder from Anna Griffin (Holly Damask). The image is an Art Impressions stamp called "Christmas Cheer" (which is retired). The sentiment is from the My Favorite Things stamp set "Sassy Pants Holiday" and the die is Spellbinders Fancy Tags 2.
