Here is my project-

 

I'm trying to make Christmas cards early this year, so I decided to go with a winter themed card for this wagon full of books. Here is the material list-

1. Image: Gnome on Books (Reading Nordic Gnome by Scrapflower Estudio), colored with Copics.
2. Paper: white cardstock, snow cardstock (Kraft Note Forever Friends), scraps.
3. Dies: lights (Holiday by Little B), poinsettia on hat (Spellbinders Sunday Drive with Santa), bow on wagon (Spellbinders Camper Life), tree (unknown-freebie).
4. Sentiment: sentiment (Spellbinders Holiday Sentiment Series 2 Glimmer Hot Foil Plate), green foil.

Here is my project- 

I needed birthday cards! And I like how it turned out-I kept trying to put the birthday die cut (Happy Birthday by Creative Expression) either over or under the image (Reading Nordic Gnome by Scrapflower Estudio). But putting the sentiment in the center was just right. The tiny black accents (stash) added some needed interest. I die cut the gnome image and mat with Taylored Expressions Label Stacklets Two.

Gnome fun for Christmas

Our sponser this month is Scrapflower Estudio. This small, woman owned business, is known for a wide variety of multicultural, and gnome-loving, digital images. Her adorable images are designed for colorists of all kinds. The owner, Patricia, began her entry into the digital stamps world via her love for coloring. I have a friend who is crazy for gnomes-her Christmas tree last year had nothing but gnomes on it! So I think this will be a great Christmas card for her! This card has the gnome swinging side to side, with the Merry Christmas sentiment under the Gnome. You can find the tutorial over at Jennifer McGuire here. Here is the material list for this card-

1. Image: Male Flower Gnome (Scrapflower Estudio), colored with Copics. (You may have to request this image, as I couldn't find it!)
2. Dies: pierced ovals, pierced circles (My Favorite Things), Snowflakes (Spellbinders 2016 Snowflake Pendant).
