Removable Christmas Ornament

Welcome to June's Challenge at Die Cut Divas, sponsored by Elizabeth Craft Designs.

They offer a prize of a $25 gift card

Our Theme is "Your Favorite Die Cut Shapes". And I like different and unusual!

I made this card and ornament for the people I cat sit for. Ziggy passed at age 14, so I thought this would make a nice remembrance for the Christmas tree. He loved to shred them! If you like these sets, they can be found on ebay or Etsy. Just keep looking. Here is a material list for this card-

  1.  Dies: Snow Globe Scene (Elizabeth Crafts Designs)-retired. Sky colored with Chipped Sapphire & Tumbled Glass Distress Oxides.
  2. Stamps & Dies: Purr (Elizabeth Crafts Designs)-retired, colored with Copics.
  3. Paper: red glitter, white, shimmer grey, and grey cardstock.
  4. Embossing: wood grain (Taylored Expression), Versa Mark ink, over a Hickory Smoke Distressed Oxide panel. Light grey cardstock embossed with diamond plate folder (Tim Holtz).
Make sure to enter for a chance at that great prize.

Hummingbirds

Welcome to June's Challenge at Die Cut Divas, sponsored by Elizabeth Craft Designs.

They offer a prize of a $25 gift card

Our Theme is "Your Favorite Die Cut Shapes".

My favorite shapes are anything different and unusual, like the shapes around a stamped image. I really like the sentiment die on this card. Here is my project-

Aren't these hummingbirds gorgeous? And I really love how the sentiment is cut around each word, giving it a less boxy look. Here is a list of materials-

  1.  Stamp & Die Set: Mindfulness (Elizabeth Crafts Designs), colored with Copics.
  2.  Embossing Folder: Marigolds (Nellie's Choice).
  3.  Paper: green cardstock, vellum, Copic Express-it.
  4. Embellishments: peridot gemstones (Spellbinders Color Essentials Gems), Stickles Glitter Glue clear.
Make sure you enter for a chance at that prize!
