I love Frantic Stamper dies-they cut super clean and the paper cuts pop out easily. I dressed up the trees with white ink, and layered them over a darker green tree to give some depth. I cut and glued the sentiment with three layers to make it stand up and be more prominent. Here is the material list for this card-
  1. Dies: trees (Impressions Obsession), snow hills, snowfall (Frantic Stamper), sentiment (Tim Holtz Alterations Holiday Words-Script)
  2. Paper: white cardstock (Neenah Solar White), green, light blue, red cardstock (stash).
  3. Other: Signo White Ball Point Pen, light blue colored pencil.
Thank you for visiting!

FCCB Challenge #305-Birthdays

Happy Monday and welcome to another Monday challenge!

Challenge #305-Birthdays
Make a project about anything to do with birthdays.

This Weeks Sponsor

And the prize is-

To qualify for the prize, be sure to use at least 1 Cricut cut on your project and if it's not obvious, let us know what cartridge you used. If you use a Cricut Explore machine, at least one cut must be from the Cricut catalog of images.

If it isn't a card, you will get two entries into the drawing!

Here is my project-

I just love shaped cards that are perfect for an individuals passions. This card is for my father-in-law who loves movies, and always talks about the drive-ins and the shenanagins that went on during the movie! Here's the material list:
  1. Cricut: Drive In Marqee (Nifty Fifties), circle and square (I could have made this a lot smaller!) welded to card front and back, Cricut Design Space for sentiment (written with black Cricut Pen). I did each marquee line seperately with text boxes (.2 inches high). Cut each text line about 2" longer on each side of the writing, then trimmed to fit marquee box. I cut a white base to match the black base on the front for the inside of the card.
  2. Paper: Neenah White Solar Bright, grey, black cardstock (Recollections), silver cardstock (Tim Holtz Kraft base Metals), remainder out of scrap stash.
Thanks for visiting, and have a great day!
