April's Theme is Birthdays, so make sure you enter a project for a chance at some great digi's! Here is my project-

This reminds me of the movie How to train your Dragon. The green and white swirly paper is actually from a Christmas Kleenex box that I've been hoarding for a few years. Here are the materials I used to make this card-
  1. Image: Flying Elf (Fabrika Fantasy), colored with Copics.
  2. Dies: scalloped panel (Cricut, Artiste), rounded rectangle (My Favorite Things), sentiment (Spellbinders Die D-Lites Sentiment 2).
  3. Paper: purple shimmer (Wausau), green patterned (Christmas tissue box), green and white card base (The Ginger Stack by DCVW).
Thanks for visiting, and check out all the cool images Fabrika Fantasy has!

I'm also entering this card at Quirky Crafts Challenge #2-Quirky Pets.

Challenge #299-Spring

Happy Monday and welcome to another Monday challenge!

Challenge #299-Spring
Make a project about Spring.

The FCCB Design Team is sponsoring a $25 gift card at

Amazon!

To qualify for the prize, be sure to use at least 1 Cricut cut on your project and if it's not obvious, let us know what cartridge you used. If you use a Cricut Explore machine, at least one cut must be from the Cricut catalog of images.

If it isn't a card, you will get two entries into the drawing!

Here is my Project:

To me, butterflies symbolize spring. I cut this with my Cricut Explore and Cricut Designs Space. The butterfly background (Paper Lace) was cut at 5.1 inches with the black & whte polka dot and the white cardstock. The card was made by welding two backgrounds (one mirrored) together. The butterfly (Sentimentals) was cut at 2" tall out of black, pink, and dark red cardstock. I'm going to leave this blank, so I can personalize it for a birthday, Thank You, Congratulations, etc.

Be sure to visit FCCB next May 1 for a huge, awesome prize challenge!

I knew the minute I saw this image that I wanted to make it a bookmark! I'm going to give this in a birthday card to my beautiful niece who is a Kindergarten teacher.  Her students will love it. I used Copic fluorescent on the books to make it really bright and hopefully easier to find! Here are the materials I used to make this bookmark-
  1. Image: Wise Dragon (Fabrika Fantasy), colored with Copics.
  2. Die: banner (My Favorite Things).
  3. Paper: orange chevron (on the back, scrap).
  4. Embellishments: gold eyelet (Crop A Dile), gold ribbon (Michael's), laminate (Xyron), gold pen for edging (Creative Memories).
Have a wonderful day!
