Halloween Projects

To qualify for the prize, be sure to use at least 1 Cricut cut on your project and if it's not obvious, let us know what cartridge you used.

Here is my project-

I wasn't real happy with the tray insert I made last year, so this year I decided to make a Halloween scene. I just love how it turned out!

Here's a list of what I did-
  1. Background is a purplely blue glitter paper-Colorbok (Big Lots).
  2. Hand cut ground from black glitter paper, attached to background.
  3. Cut circle (5") from deep yellow cardstock from Plantin Schoolbook for moon.
  4. From Monster Bash, cut Haunted House (5"), tree (5"), black cat (1 1/4"), crow (1") out of black cardstock.
  5. From Happy Haunting, cut ghost (3") from white cardstock.
  6. Cut bats from Spellbinders Bat die out of black scraps.
Normally I would use my ATG gun or a tape runner, but I glued anything that went onto the glitter paper (Beacon 3 in 1).

The FCCB design team did a Halloween card swap, and here is the card I received from Avril Tanner-

Isn't this just too cute? I love the tulle and those purple jingle bells! The 3d star is a great way to add dimension-cute, cute, cute!

Exploring Cricut & More Birthday Celebration week!

Here is another Birthday project! This cupcake box was made using Sweet Tooth Boxes, cut at 11 1/2"-

My mom's birthday was yesterday, and a German Chocolate Cupcake (Gluten Free) went in this so she could have cake for her special day. I chose the dark brown cardstock for the chocolate, and the Antique Cream Berry Plaid (Keeping Memories Alive) reminded me so much of the frosting. I did use gold Liquid Pearls to jazz up the icing, and added the rust colored flowers (Prima) to resemble the baked coconut. I used my alcohol marker to color the pearls in the flowers brown, and used brown organza ribbon to complete my arrangement.

Thanks for visiting, and be sure to enter a project for those great prizes!

Exploring Cricut & More 4th Birthday Celebration week!

Exploring Cricut & More is turning 4 this week! And here is a Twisted Easel card I made for the occasion-

I also needed a card for my sisters birthday in December, so I made this to celebrate her love of motorcycles. She has a Harley Road King, so this bike isn't a Harley, but she'll like it anyway! The image came from Rock Princess, cut at 4 3/4". All of the bike is cut using scraps. The hair is almost identical to my sisters real hair color-it's gorgeous! The road is a Paper Trey ink stamp embossed with white embossing powder,  and the bottom sentiment (Live life at full throttle) is from Unity Stamp Co.

Thanks for visiting me today, and make sure you enter a project-what great prizes!

Design Team Announcement!

I'm super excited to announce that I have been accepted into the Die Cut Diva's Design Team! They have awesome challenges and prizes, so I hope to see you there! Here are two cards I made for the occasion.

This is my fall card, made with a Bugaboo digital freebie, Spellbinders die, black Offray ribbon, Unity Stamp Co sentiment,  and Best Creations Halloween paper-

And this is my spring card! This also has a Bugaboo digital image, purple Offray sheer ribbon, and Creative Memories paper (embossed with Cuttlebug Victoria).

Create projects and join the challenges, and have fun with us!

FCCB Challenge #232-Fun Pun

Hello, Welcome to another Challenge Me Monday!

Challenge #232 Pun Fun
Make a project using a pun

This Weeks Sponsor

SVG Attic

$15.00 Giftcard

Here is my project-

I started out with this paper from Crate Paper DIY Shop collection, and used shimmer watercolors from Michaels to splatter the paper and make a base for the Unity Stamps sentiment (stamped with Memento ink). The fan is from the Suburbia cartridge using a Bazzill blue grey paper and Magic Scraps Brushed Silver adhesive paper. The base mat is the same paper as the fan.

Check out the Design Team projects and submit an entry into the challenge-maybe win a great prize!

Squirrel Challenge at BBTB2

Hi, and welcome to my blog. This week at BBTB2 the challenge was to make a project with squirrels and/or nuts, so here is my project-

I decided to make my husband's Christmas card this year. Since our last name is Nutter, I thought this would be appropriate! I cut the squirrels from Cindy Loo cartridge at 4", using Wausau Royal Metallic Shimmer paper (copper, gold), and scraps of brown & beige. The sentiment is computer generated onto ivory cardstock and matted with a scrap of matte gold. The background paper is from
Bo-Bunny.

Thank you for visiting today!

Exploring Cricut & More Halloween week!

Hello, and welcome to Halloween week at Exploring Cricut & More. This is my project-

Here's a list of supplies-
  1. Spooky Soiree SVG cuts from SVGcuts.com.
  2. Black Cardstock-(8) 12 x 12 sheets.
  3. Panel cuts from Graphics 45, Karen Foster, and The Paper Place.
  4. LED tealights from Michaels
Just make sure you watch the video to know how to put it together-much easier! I also love the other projects in the package-Skeleton, Lantern, Witch Leg card, and Pumpkin Treat Bucket.

I'm also entering this at Die Cutting Divas Anything Goes Challenge. (Top 5 pick)

Thanks for dropping by!
