I just love shaped cards that are perfect for an individuals passions. This card is for my father-in-law who loves movies, and always talks about the drive-ins and the shenanagins that went on during the movie! Here's the material list:
- Cricut: Drive In Marqee (Nifty Fifties), circle and square (I could have made this a lot smaller!) welded to card front and back, Cricut Design Space for sentiment (written with black Cricut Pen). I did each marquee line seperately with text boxes (.2 inches high). Cut each text line about 2" longer on each side of the writing, then trimmed to fit marquee box. I cut a white base to match the black base on the front for the inside of the card.
- Paper: Neenah White Solar Bright, grey, black cardstock (Recollections), silver cardstock (Tim Holtz Kraft base Metals), remainder out of scrap stash.
Awesome! This takes me back to High School and the drivein movies!
